You can apply for a student VISA after the university grants your application and you want to get admitted to the university immediately. The government of the UK offers VISA for students for certain conditions that include

• Required List of Documents for UK Student Visa

  • You have an admission letter or an offer letter from a registered educational institution in the UK.
  • Income certificate of your parents to confirm your ability to come up with the expenses for the study.
  • You must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Consent from your parents with proof of your age of more than 16 years to get a student VISA.

  You can apply for the student VISA as early as possible or six months before your course's starting date. It generally takes three to four weeks to get a student VISA if you stay outside the UK. In case you are applying for a student VISA while staying in the UK, it generally takes eight weeks to get or renew your student VISA.
